Dr. Leo Liu

Principal investigator

Dr. Leo Liu completed his postgraduate studies at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO) of the University of Saskatchewan and then pursued postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago and then at the Cleveland Clinic. He is enthusiastic about training junior scientists and is dedicated to creating a research environment that embraces care and inspiration. He loves dogs and the GTA.

Dog

Dr. NL63

Senior Researcher

Dr. NL63 brings expertise in immunology and infectious diseases to our team. His research efforts are dedicated to elucidating the intricate interactions between viruses and the host immune system, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets.

Owl

Dr. OC43

Researcher

Dr. OC43's research focuses on viral evolution and transmission dynamics. Her contributions to our projects enrich our understanding of viral dissemination and aid in the development of effective intervention strategies.

Cat

Dr. 229E

Researcher

Dr. 229E's expertise lies in the study of host cellular responses to viral infections. Her work sheds light on the mechanisms underlying host susceptibility to viral pathogens, offering critical insights for therapeutic development.

Flight

Gupus Dubus Silivotus

Research Assistant

Gupus Dubus Silivotus provides invaluable support to our research projects, contributing to experimental procedures and data analysis. His dedication and meticulous approach enhance the efficiency and rigor of our scientific investigations.
